1980s to present, Army Dress Uniforms:
“Updated” Staff Sergeant, prior-Honor Guards uniform:
He’s done a year in Iraq, and a year in Afghanistan, On his fourth enlistment, this Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a troop of the “Old Guard” and I am sure they would pick this example apart, as they are impeccable, and the most disciplined soldiers I have ever seen, and they consider it an honor of being a guard there. And a very serious position too, and they demand your respect as well, after all, the Tomb is on sacred ground, going back to the days of the Civil War. I hope I have done these people some justice, I know. He should have sunglasses. The Toumb-Badge moves from one pocket while on duty and off. He keeps the CIB and has a rocker for Ranger School. I’ve reshoot this 6 times now! I’m done with this one!
*Updated! Sergeant Major of the Army, 101st Airborne, And Drill Instructor, Dress Blue Uniform:
*Iraqi jump wings? And Saudi, I think. US Jump Qualification Wings has a star for 1 combat jump, the CIB, and a good conduct ribbon with 5 knots. And 5 1/2 years of combat bars. Multiple Silver Stars, multiple Soldiers Medals, multiple Bronze Stars, Purple Hearts, Commendation Medals, Good Conduct, and American Expeditionary Forces. He served in Southwest Asia, Afghanistan, and Iraq Campaigns, then the Global War on Terror. Army Overseas Service Medal x3, and then the famous Kuait (KLM) “Saudi Arabia” Medal. I have trouble, with what shirt goes with what blue jacket, was khaki, then light green then white, I no longer know, but this is my example of the complete bad-ass that knowbody knew about, I guess, But he is the Master Sergeant of the Army, the highest NCO rank an Army soldier can acheave, and that done come easy, he had to see a great amount of BS!
