Russian Uniforms

Infantry Officers Cap:

This is not a period piece, nor can I remember when I got it. I was planning on making up some uniforms at one time..

Tankers Crash Helmet/Cap:

Funny, I remember looking for a black tankers cap, but I found this in the storage, I guess the uniform never developed either, butt it looks like the WWII style.

WWI to Early WWII Infantryman’s Cap:

I am pretty sure this was in the works at one time, and the uniform never came to be, because I ran out of dough…maybe someday I’ll continue.

WWII Comisar ?:

I want to say I got this as a gift, as the insignia throws me, it must be Post-War / Cold War, so not bought for the collection, but given to me. My brother went to Russian on several buisness trips, and brough back loads of shirts and insignia, that went into boxes, some I cant find, tons of other single peices of pins, boardsm tabs, and so on, all 15 years old or more, but said they would give you their shirts off their back for a buck, he spent $200.00 or something and I had bags of stuff.

Army Officer Fur Hat:

I think I got this from my Brother, too.

Army Officer Fur Hat:

This, too, I think, was a gift like most of the Russian collection!

Air Force Fur Cap:

This one is a gift I got from my neighbor when we moved to the block. Nick is a US Air Force veteran, and this had been a gift to his father…as is the following cap I have, he wasn’t sure if they were real, but I'm certain they are very real, and there is more to the story for sure.

This is a Russian Infanty Officers winter feild cap:

Post Communist Russian Navy Officer Visor Cap:

This was from a friend of my brother’s, who had visited, seen the collection, and went and got a bunch of stuff for me! Again, thank you very much; it is missing a chin strap.

Naval Admerial:

I was given this Visor Cap from my friend Scott, and he is a business partner, He has a great story to tell, but I wont get it righ here, but in short he had been over there helping getting their King Crab indisttry odd their feet, and went from using a net to crab pots, and they had aquired some US vessels on the buy-out. Anyway, anyway, anyway-it was given to him, in good justice, and he gave it to me so it would have a place to be…This is just the strangest thing I have gotten, so many gifts from friends that were Russian caps. Thank you, guys.

East German, Army Overseas Cap:

This cap needed a home; I think it was from a friend of my brother’s.
